Uwharrie Chair Company uses heavy, one inch thick lumber milled from high density poly vinyl chloride.  Premium Uwharrie Polymer offers distinct advantages over other synthetic woods as it may be painted in any of Uwharrie Chair Company's 28 colors and is created through a free foam process which prohibits mushrooming of the lumber when secured with screws.  Like all Uwharrie Chair Company products, it's perfect for outdoor use with a limited lifetime warrantee against splitting, rotting, decaying, chipping, water damage and insect infestation.
