The pitcher can be continually refilled without having to replace the fruit.  To keep your beverage chilled wihout a watered down taste, simply attach the removable freezer ice tube (screws into the lid).  Just fill the ice tube with water one time and keep in the freezer until ready to use. It may be re-frozen repeately without re-filling with water.
