Prepac Manufacturing was founded in 1979 by Steve Simpson, the company's CEO and President. Prepac Manufacturing is a state-of-the-art manufacturer of home furnishings and storage products with its main manufacturing factory located in the heart of the forest-rich West Coast.

The company originated as a pre-finished product manufacturer, providing custom printed and finished particleboard shelving for the building industry.

In the early 1980s, Prepac launched its first Ready to Assemble (RTA) storage products into the Home Center industry. Success rapidly followed and by 1984 the company began producing national RTA storage programs.

 Prepac currently manufactures an impressive collection of Bedroom, Audio-Video, Media Storage, Entryway and Office Furniture, Utility Storage and Kitchen Cabinets. Prepac is now one of the largest producers of RTA in Canada, with full-service representation throughout North America.
